A symbol of EvergreenHealth Hospice family is the hummingbird – a symbol that reminds us to embrace and enjoy life’s simple beauty.  A vision that longtime Hospice volunteer, Bert Fischer, created by installing hummingbird feeders outside of patients room for all to enjoy.   We would like to bring Bert’s vision for outside, inside the patient rooms and family kitchens.

A local community artist’s artwork – gorgeous hummingbird photography – is going to be displayed in the hospice patient rooms. This is where we need your help; we still need to raise some funds to cover the cost of installation and display materials.

We would like to invite you to be part of our efforts to bring this beautiful photography to our hospice care center. Please consider making a donation this holiday season – just like the hummingbird, something very small can make all the difference.

About the local Artist – Cara Freeberne, Freeberne Photography: “I have been fascinated with hummingbirds since I moved to the United States from the UK, more than 20 years ago. I am thrilled and humbled to be offering my images to Evergreen Hospice and I cannot think of a bigger honor than having my photographs in the rooms in this special place.” To learn more about Cara an Freeberne Photography visit: https://www.freebernephotography.com/
