We take pride in our ability to provide excellent care today and in the future. For this reason, our hospital team has undergone extensive preparation and planning for emergencies ranging from natural disasters to disease outbreaks.

The Intensive Care Unit at EvergreenHealth positioned itself as a leader combating the COVID-19 crisis through its normalized best practices including comprehensive care. In a given day, a multitude of professionals with various expertise gather to evaluate and support patients in the ICU including: physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and nutritionists. This comprehensive approach to healthcare ensures that each patient is receiving the utmost quality of care from a variety of healthcare experts. Our team is proud of the preventative measures we have in place to combat COVID-19 including: negative airflow rooms, UV sanitation towers, and expanded space for patient rooms.

An anonymous donor supported EvergreenHealth in 2019 by purchasing two UV-C Clorox Optimum towers to be used throughout the hospital. The towers are easily transported between patient rooms for sanitation.

There is still much more to be done. Thanks to an anonymous donor, EvergreenHealth was able to purchase 2 UV-C Optimum Light towers to sanitize our hospital. With growing demands for UV-C light sanitation surrounding COVID-19, we are seeking funds to support the purchase of 2 more UV-C towers and Clean Slate Devices to support ICU patient rooms and facilities.

UV-C Light tower utilizes UV-rays to clean patient rooms in less than 20 minutes. UV-rays are 99.9% effective in killing germs.
