Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I make a personal contribution?
The answer lies in EvergreenHealth’s exceptional staff – our healthcare heroes who work tirelessly day in and day out to keep our community safe and healthy. A gift to EvergreenHealth benefitting the Employee Financial Assistance Fund is a gift to those struggling to make ends meet during this challenging time. And no one is better positioned than you are to help assist our own colleagues navigate through these unchartered waters.

While there is no obligation to give, all staff, physicians and volunteers are encouraged to participate and many do – in part because when you make a donation to the Campaign for EvergreenHealth, you are assisting our family members here at EvergreenHealth through a difficult time.

Your support of the Campaign for EvergreenHealth helps us all fulfill our promise to enrich the health and well-being of every life we touch – that includes our staff here at EvergreenHealth. Your gift, of any size, will have a direct impact on the lives of many colleagues and help us create a culture of philanthropy where we support each other.

How much should I give?
We encourage gifts of any amount! Whatever is right for you, makes a difference. Together, we can accomplish great things for EvergreenHealth’s departments and services.

Can I give to my department?
Yes, you can designate your donation to your specific department.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, 100% of your gift to the EvergreenHealth Foundation is tax-deductible.

I gave last year through payroll deduction, do I have to fill out a new pledge form?
No, your payroll deduction will automatically rollover to this year, and you do not need to fill out a new form. If you would like to make a change to your payroll deduction amount, then you will need to make a new pledge, either online or via a paper form. To verify your gift amount from last year, or to make changes, please call the Foundation office at 425.899.1900. Any pledge will rollover year after year unless you make any changes or cancel with the Foundation Office.
